Great video BUT I think the ‘time the market’ idea is a bad one for most people. Worked well for out which is awesome but the data speaks for itself that for most people time in the market works way better than timing the market

The issue with MLPs is you often get a delayed tax form delaying you filing for your income tax. Also if you own MLPs inside of a IRA the income is taxable

Whos name appears on a brokered CD as the owner/depositor? Some of these brokered CDs are from credit unions where you must be a member. And buying a CD at a new bank involves a lot of paperwork, something that is not required with a brokered CD. My brother who does buy non-IRA brokered CDs tells me that he gets a 1099I from the broker and NOT the bank. And unlike bank CDs, you can trade brokered CDs. All this tells me that brokered CD are NOT in my name but the broker's name. Why does that matter? I would assume that most investors are going to chose a FDIC insured bank's CD with the highest rate. And what is preventing the broker from being lazy and buying one million dollar CD and selling parts to individual investors. In that case, that one CD is ONLY FDIC insured for $250,000, NOT the 1 million invested. How do I know my CD investment that could be combined with hundreds of other investors in the same CD, is fully FDIC insured?

As part of my retirement plans and also owing to the very shaky housing market now, I just sold a property in Philly and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains in months, I'm really just confused at this point...

Im in a postion where i live five minutes away from work, my living costs are extremely low and i make a little over 50k a year. Im very frugile and drive a 23 year old car. Im pretty much throwing 90% of my earnings into my portfolio at the moment. Mostly dividend stocks with proven track records with a dividend yield rate at no less than 5.50%. I believe i can get to that 100k portfolio in no time if i just stay the course. I have a couple of high risk assets that ive invested in as well, if that pays off ill get that 100k alot faster. We'll see. Lol.. Good luck to my investment brothers and sisters out there. Take the emotion out of it, and you're set!!!

I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification.I’m up 67% last year with a 7 figure portfolio well positioned with good blue chip companies and I have stop losses in place, Personally with insights from my FA Dianne Sarah Olson I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, large cash flows and strong balance sheets. Some of which are AAPL, MSCI, IUKD, VHYL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays.

I mean you don't invest in the S&P 500 because you are looking to become overnight Millionaires. You do it because it's the slow steady and reliable way. There's been higher risk options that can payout more.
